Purpose Found!

I've struggled with what to do with this blog.

Easy answer revealed: use it for what it is.

This blog is the nice byproduct of my Google identity that I specifically created for my activities as a bassist. So, it is always up and it is easy for me to blog under this identity.

I've already created a primary blog, AmenComeLordJesus.com. I also wouldn't be surprised if I don't attach a blog to michaelonbass.com specifically dedicated to my musical thoughts and activities, and I also have a personal site with a blog attached. So I've been uncertain what to do with this one.

Now I know. It is a crossroads of sorts, under the on-line identity I use the most. I find it convenient to use my "michaelonbass" login to make comments on some of the blogs I've been reading, and know that folks follow the link back here sometimes. So, besides the occasional random posts not necessarily fitting elsewhere, this blog site will serve as a "mini-Michael portal" so to speak.

What is really happening is that I've been finding brothers in Christ here and that makes me want to make use of this site to communicate with them. There are some powerful messages being spread on some of these other blogs...I'm linking to them where I find them, and adding widgets to others as well. I am very thankful for the blogs and the people behind them, and feel blessed when I receive comments from them. So, being part of this blogger community has struck me as a very good thing. Last, but certainly not least, since this is connected to my bassist identity, I hope that some folks that find me here from the music world will be led to the content related to the Lord.
