The Holiday Season

The holiday season is difficult for many. Painful memories, loneliness, and poverty can often come to the forefront. Materialism and pagan practices run rampant. Debt is incurred and our faith is compromised. I just published a post on my blog at AmenComeLordJesus.com on the subject of Christmas and Christianity.

On the bright side, we spend more time with family and take a break from the rat race. The year end and a few days off gives us time to reflect on the past and plan for the future. On that note, I continue to struggle with what to post where. I've noticed that the "Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!" blog here on blogspot that I started to use as a mirror of AmenComeLordJesus.com doesn't get much traffic. I'll be figuring out what to do to about that and get some focus among the various sites over the coming weeks and months. And, I still plan to publish more pictures and writings on my personal and music sites in the near future, too.

In the meantime, the past year has seen me at least go from complete inaction to taking some first steps. I'm looking forward to taking some more of those steps in the coming year.

Peace!

Great thoughts. It can be a painful time and often too stressful, but the new year brings a chance to look back. Thanks for your wonderful comment on my blog and also in the past year. God bless you!
